With version 25.1 of the Exadata System Software, Oracle introduces a major enhancement to the patchmgr tool, making it easier to manage third-party software during platform updates.

This new feature automatically detects and resolves dependency conflicts in 5 simple steps, ensuring third-party tools remain fully functional before and after system upgrades.

Customers can now keep their third-party software running smoothly while maintaining a fully up-to-date Exadata infrastructure.
